What
do you do at Birthday parties?
I have several different shows and types of parties that I offer for different
age groups. Please see Birthday Parties. I like
to work with the host to make sure that the child has the perfect party
for them. At any birthday I am the life of the party, bringing joy and
excitement to this special event with special attention for the birthday
child.
How
much do you cost? How long do you stay?
For shows that last one hour the charge is
$180.
For shows that last one and a half hours the charge is $240.
For shows that last two hours the charge is $300.
If there are more than 10-18 kids, I will need more time for the balloon twisting and the face painting. I charge an extra $30 for each 15 minutes that I need to add to complete the party.
For multiple hour events, give me a call to discuss discounted rates.
There is never a mileage fee within the greater Austin area.
What
can you do at my special event?
When I'm doing only balloon twisting or face painting I add color to an
already exciting event. In this case I am usually one of many attractions--I
entertain the children while they are with me, then they run off with
their balloon or face paint to enjoy the rest of the party.
For other large
events, I can entertain small groups for a few minutes at a time moving
through the crowd. This is called "Strolling Entertainment"
in the clown biz. I perform pocket magic, tell silly jokes, and even do
some funny songs. It's perfect to keep people (of all ages) smiling--but
not so much as to distract from the main party or product.

Are your Face Paints Safe?
I use only Snazaroo Face paints. They are hypoallergenic and the company that makes them has a million dollar insurance policy in case of any harm that may be caused by the paints. These paints are high quality and dry quickly. They also come off easily with soap and water. I also find that diaper wipes work very well for removing the paint.
Will small children be scared of you?
One of the reasons that I changed from Mz. Squiggles to Penelope Foolish is to make my character more acceptable to the small children. I certainly can't guarantee that no child will be scared of me, but most children warm up to me very quickly.
How do I pay?
I always take payment at the end of the party to make sure that you are completely satisfied. I can take checks and cash, but I do not accept credit cards. I do not worry about deposits.
What if I need to cancel?
Emergencies happen. Please call me as soon as possible so that I can use your time slot to book another party. If you call with less than one weeks notice then I charge a $50 cancellation fee.
What do I need to have for you?
At most a table and chairs. Call me for specifics for individual parties.
